General Refund Terms
Hotel Refund Rules Apply
All refunds are strictly subject to the individual hotel’s refund policy, selected rate plan, and applicable timelines.
Facilitator Role
Traveller India forwards refund requests to the hotel. Refunds are initiated only after the hotel approves and releases the refundable amount to Traveller India.
Non-Refundable Convenience Fee
The convenience fee charged at the time of booking is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Traveller India Service Fee
A nominal service fee may be deducted by Traveller India for processing refund requests. This amount is subtracted from the final refundable value, if applicable.
2. Hotel Refund Rules
Refund eligibility and amount depend entirely on the hotel’s refund policy and the room rate selected at the time of booking.
Refundable bookings may be subject to deductions as per hotel rules.
Non-refundable or promotional-rate bookings are generally not eligible for any refund.
Any penalties charged by the hotel will be deducted from the refundable amount.
3. Refund Processing & Timeline
Refund Method
All approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
Processing Timeline
3–5 business days for hotel approval and refund release
An additional 7–14 business days for the amount to reflect in the customer’s bank or card statement
Final Refund Amount
The refunded amount will be calculated after deducting:
Hotel-imposed charges (if any)
Traveller India service fee
Non-refundable convenience fee
4. Exceptional Circumstances
Hotel-Initiated Refunds
If a hotel cancels a reservation and issues a refund, Traveller India will process the refund only after receiving the amount from the hotel.
Force Majeure
In cases such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or operational issues, refunds are processed only if the hotel provides a refund.
